The St. Francis of Assisi Award Recipents are Jessica Perez and Robert Becker. This honor is awarded to two members of the graduating class (one male/one female) who best emulate the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, especially his traits of simplicity, openness and willingness to put self aside. Throughout their four years of high school these students have exhibited a joyful, gentle spirit and love of all God’s creation.

Calling all Crimson Hawk Fans – BIG SPRING FOOTBALL CLASSIC TAILGATE PARTY!

The Spring Football Classic will be held on Thursday, May 23 this year and your SFC Boosters will be hosting a BBQ Tailgate Party, a Pork Butt sale, and a 2013/14 Membership Drive. Included in the festivities will be an Apple iPad Giveaway, a halftime athletic presentation for all 2012/13 SFC athletes, and a brand new T-shirt.

Apple iPad giveaway tickets are $10, tailgate tickets are $8 ($10 at the gate,) and pork butts are $25. Please stop by the front office for all order forms or see a Booster member.

Additionally, the 2013/14 Booster Membership cost is only $100 per family. Your $100 donation will support all SFC athletes and allow you voting rights at Booster Association meetings. You will receive an SFC Booster Association car magnet and your name will be prominently featured on the SFC website and in all SFC sports programs. You will also receive $10 in Booster Bucks to use toward any Hawk’s Nest apparel purchase. And…if registered before the halftime drawing on the 23^rd you will receive one complimentary entry into the Apple iPad Giveaway drawing.

SFC Boys’ Baseball just won the District Championship! They beat LCS 8-5 on Thursday, April 25! SFC will host Regionals next Thursday, a week from tonight at 7:00pm. Come out and support our Hawks!
