Congressional Classroom is a once in a lifetime opportunity for interested and motivated high school juniors to visit their nation’s capitol for an insider’s view of the democratic process.  The students have the opportunity to see “first hand” our government in action, question government leaders, and tour points of interest in the Capitol area.

February 1, 2012—The Randy Roberts Foundation, Inc. invites all High School Juniors to apply for the opportunity to participate in the 2012 Congressional Classroom.  Congressional Classroom is an all access look at the United States Government, set in Washington, D.C.

The overall purpose of the Congressional Classroom Program is to introduce students to the process and positions of government, engage them in democracy and to foster an interest in public service.  Applicants for Congressional Classroom should have a conversational knowledge of current events and an interest in civic involvement.

Stop by your guidance office to pick up an application today.  Application due in Guidance by March 25th.
