Welcome, from the Director of Institutional Advancement
My primary focus is on the revenue-generating elements for the school – development and enrollment. In order to successfully accomplish that, the Advancement Office must do several things.
First, we must state our case for support succinctly and effectively to alumni, parents, potential donors, constituents, and friends of Santa Fe Catholic High School. Our case statement will, with your support, generate immediate unrestricted or restricted gifts via our Annual Fund, and create more long term arrangements through bequests, wills, insurance policies, or other forms of planned giving.
Second, we must communicate effectively with parents of elementary school children and private and public school administrators; publicize Santa Fe Catholic news and events through an array of publications and information releases; market our brand to the greater community using a variety of media; and establish and sustain relationships with businesses. If we are successful in these efforts, we will build on Santa Fe Catholic’s legacy and enhance its endowment.
Finally, we must capitalize on digital, electronic, and social media, as well as television and certain print media outlets. We need to position Santa Fe Catholic to attract families and students from the region who desire a Santa Fe Catholic education and can make a difference on our campus. Once enrolled, we can help sustain the student and family through recognition of their accomplishments in and out of the classroom.
Our efforts, however, do not stop there. Santa Fe Catholic’s community extends well beyond the campus as grandparents, extended family, and friends share in the pride of the institution. As vital cogs of Santa Fe Catholic’s legacy, these supporters are critical to our future growth through the annual fund, planned giving, and matching gifts.
I look forward to your continued support to build on the great legacies and traditions of Santa Fe Catholic, especially as we celebrate our 50th anniversary of offering excellence in Catholic education to the children of God in greater Polk County. Dear Hawks, SFC Family and Friends, I will be calling you to see how your gifts and talents can help Santa Fe Catholic’s cause.
