BJ Knauf and Kathryn Dunn will both be taking part in the “National Signing Day” on February 1.   Kat will be signing with Waycross College in Georgia to play softball and BJ will be signing with Purdue to play football.

Boys soccer suffered a heartbreaking defeat in the district quarterfinals. Despite missing Senior Jake Dotson for the game, the Hawks were able to carry district rival Ft. Meade into overtime, eventually losing 1-0.

Girls soccer placed second in the district after defeating ASA in the semifinals and losing to LCS in the championship.  The Lady Hawks’ season ended after a defeat in the regional quarterfinals at First Academy Orlando. This is the fifth straight season the Lady Hawks have made the playoffs. This was quite an accomplishment for this young team with five freshmen in the starting lineup to keep the streak alive.

Girls basketball played a phenomenal game this past Friday!  The girls rallied together to come from behind and pulled out an amazing victory for our seniors.  Come out and cheer our Lady Hawks on to victory Tuesday, January 31,  for our biggest game of the season. We will be taking on LCS at 7:00 pm in the first round of districts.  We have a lot on the line, and we’re certainly not ready for our season to end.  Let’s pack the gym to support our girls!

Go Hawks!
